About Me
Hi, I'm Jenna!
I've always been drawn to stories—both the stories people carry and the ways they express them. Whether through meaningful conversations in the therapy room or through writing and sharing music, I love creating spaces where people can feel known, understood, and encouraged.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as a music educator and musician. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for creativity, connection, and the unique journey each person is on. Over time, I felt called toward counseling and pursued my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I discovered a deep passion for walking alongside people through life's challenges and helping them move toward greater healing and growth.
Today, I work with individuals, children, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion, drawing from EMDR, attachment-based, and experiential approaches to support each person's unique needs and goals.
Outside of therapy, you'll often find me creating music, spending time with loved ones, enjoying the outdoors, or taking long walks in nature. Music continues to be an important part of my life and serves as another way I connect with others and share hope.
Whether you've found your way here through therapy, music, or a little of both, I'm grateful you're here and look forward to connecting with you.
My Approach To Therapy
Life can sometimes feel like a lost melody, leaving us struggling to find where we belong. I believe healing happens in the presence of a safe and supportive relationship. Therapy offers a space to make sense of your experiences and reconnect with yourself, your story, and others.
I bring a warm, relational, and collaborative approach to therapy. My passion is helping people feel truly seen and heard. I'm genuinely curious about you, your experiences, and the relationships and moments that have shaped your life. Together, we'll explore what feels stuck, uncover deeper patterns, and create space for healing and growth.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy used to help individuals process and heal from difficult experiences. I also incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and experiential approaches into my work. While these frameworks guide my understanding, I believe every person and every story is unique. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals.
For me, therapy is an invitation to dive deep together—exploring the parts of your story that have been wounded while restoring goodness, beauty, and love along the way. My hope is that through our work together, you'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself, re-write our stories, and discover a renewed sense of rhythm that feels authentic and meaningful.
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity.”
